Pages reach you through Cloudflare’s network and are served by Render, the platform’s host, which keeps a log of the requests the site receives. Like any web request, yours carries your IP address and details of your browser.

When you send a form, the platform’s server records the IP address the request came from in its request log.

The typefaces on this site are served from the site itself, not from a font service.

Pictures uploaded to this site are stored with, and served from, Cloudflare.

When a page cannot be found, the site counts the address that was asked for. It records nothing about you.

This site loads no analytics or advertising tags.

For its visitors, this site itself sets a cookie in only one case:

• If you unlock a password-protected page, a cookie remembers that for 30 days. It holds a scrambled value, not the password.

People who edit this site for The Dakota Rogers Project carry cookies of their own. Visitors are never given them.

Other forms on this site keep your answers in The Dakota Rogers Project’s records and email them to the staff The Dakota Rogers Project names for that form. A form set up to do so also emails you a copy.

Some pages offer an interactive Google map. It loads from Google only when you press the button to load it.

Videos play from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced address, or from Vimeo with its do-not-track setting on. Either way they load from those companies.

Besides the companies named above:

• Render hosts the platform and its databases, in the United States.
• Cloudflare carries the site to you and stores its pictures.
• Mailgun sends the platform’s email.
• Stripe and Zoho take card payments.
• Where The Dakota Rogers Project keeps its accounts in Zoho Books or QuickBooks, invoices are recorded there under your name.

• Form answers are not deleted on a schedule; they stay in The Dakota Rogers Project’s records.

• The platform’s logs of submissions and of email sent are deleted after a year.
• Used and expired sign-in links, and ended sign-ins, are deleted 30 days after they stop working.
• Counts of pages that could not be found are deleted after 90 days.

• Nightly backups of the records are kept for 30 days.
